Worship with us at St. Peter's!

At St. Peter’s, worship is the heart of our life together. Whether you join us in person or online, you’ll find a welcoming community gathered to praise God, hear the Word, share in Holy Communion, and be sent into the world with hope.
Here, you can plan your visit, connect with online worship, and discover ways you can share your gifts in leading worship.

Plan Your Visit Expand

When you join us for worship at St. Peter’s, you’ll be greeted with genuine warmth and a sense of belonging from the moment you arrive. Our recently renovated Fellowship Hall and refreshed parking areas make it easy to find a spot and come in through whichever entrance is closest—the circle entrance facing 1431, the covered west entry, the Fellowship Hall, or the east doors. Friendly volunteers will be there to welcome you, help you find your way, and answer any questions.

We gather for worship at 8:30am and 10:45am, with Sunday School for children and adults beginning at 9:40am. You’ll find parking all around the building, and ramps are available at both main entrances. Once inside, you’ll receive a bulletin to help you follow along, and our worship words and music are also displayed on a screen.

Our worship follows a beautiful rhythm of Gathering, Word, Meal, and Sending. This includes confession and forgiveness, hymns, scripture readings, prayers, a children’s breakout time, a sermon, and Holy Communion. Most Sundays, our music is rooted in the rich tradition of hymnody, accompanied by choir and handbells. On the fourth Sunday of each month, our Coffee House Band leads with a more contemporary style. Worship at St. Peter’s is participatory—people of all ages read scripture, share musical gifts, serve communion, or work in the A/V booth. We believe everyone has gifts to share, and worship is most vibrant when all generations are involved.

We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday, believing that Jesus himself is the host and that all are welcome at his table. Bread and wine (or grape juice) are offered, with gluten-free wafers available. You may also come forward for a blessing instead.

Children are always welcome in worship. Activity bags are available in the narthex, and our nursery (staffed during the late service) offers a comfortable space for little ones. During worship, children from PreK through elementary school are invited to a breakout time to hear God’s Word in a way that’s designed just for them before returning for the rest of the service.

As for what to wear—come as you are. You’ll see everything from jeans to dresses to shorts. The most important thing you can bring is a heart open to experiencing God’s love. Everything else is just details.

Worship Online Expand

Worship at St. Peter’s isn’t limited to those who can join us in person—we are blessed to share our services live online so you can connect with God and our church family from wherever you are. Whether you’re traveling, home with little ones, or joining us from another city or state, you’ll experience the same message, music, and Spirit-filled community as those gathered in our sanctuary. Our livestream includes scripture readings, music, sermon, Holy Communion, and moments to pray and reflect together.

You can worship online with us on Sundays at 10:45am. We invite you to prepare a worship space at home, bring bread and wine or juice for communion, and fully join in as we praise God as one body—no matter the distance. Just click the button below to join us online.

Volunteer in Worship Expand

Serving in worship is a meaningful way to use your gifts and help create a welcoming, Spirit-filled experience for all who gather. There are many ways to get involved—no prior experience needed, just a willing heart!

  • Lectors – Bring God’s Word to life by reading scripture during worship. You’ll receive the readings ahead of time so you can prepare and share them clearly and confidently.
  • Communion Assistants – Help serve the bread and wine (or grape juice) during Holy Communion, reminding each person of God’s grace given for them.
  • Bread Bakers – Provide fresh bread for our communion table, offering a tangible gift of hospitality to the congregation.
  • Altar Guild – Prepare the communion elements, care for the altar, and tend to the worship space so it’s ready for each service.
  • Greeters & Ushers – Welcome people as they arrive, hand out bulletins, assist with seating, and help with offering and communion flow.
  • Tech Team – Support our in-person and online worship by running sound, slides, and livestream technology.

When you serve, you’re helping others encounter God’s presence in worship—and we’d love to help you find the role that fits you best.
