Sometimes during Sunday morning worship, I find myself looking across the room, caught up in the wonder of the moment. I find myself in the awareness that all of us have come from different directions and backgrounds, from near and far, journeys of ups and down, years of twists and turns we could never predict or plan, and in the moment of worship our lives and faith journey intersect. What are the odds of this happening? It reminds me of the sacredness of the moment...that something special and purposeful is happening...that something holy and Spirit-filled is at work among us.
I don't know what led you to this page and website, to our congregation, to reading these words, but I am grateful you are here. St. Peter's is a congregation where all are welcome.
