A light lunch will be provided, and on-site childcare will be available. Please let Pastor Lisa know if your child(ren) will be staying. We will be in the Fellowship Hall for lunch and the discussion. This event is open to anyone.
Part of our discussion will include identifying what our local schools’ policies are for technology. If possible, bring your child’s school policy on technology (a digital copy is fine).
A portion of our time will include us asking ourselves, “so what are we going to do now?” We will look at the author’s resources from his non-profit letgrow.org and Justin Earley Whitmel’s resource hangtenmovement.com. The latter resource is faith-based.
On Jan. 26th, Pastor Harold will be introducing another resource that we may want to read next, “Last Child in the Woods.” It’s about nature-deficit disorder and the importance of playing outside.
